How it works

From scouting to the closing bell

The same four steps run every trading day.

STEP 01

Scout

Market levels and conditions are reviewed before any signal goes out.

STEP 02

Signal

The Telegram post lists the underlying, expiry, all strikes and quantity. You place the order in your own brokerage account.

STEP 03

Manage

Every position has a defined maximum loss. Fills, exits and changes are posted in the same strategy topic.

STEP 04

Report

A daily P&L summary lists each closed position with strikes, quantity and result. A day-by-day plaque closes out every month.

Track record · July 2026 to October 8, 2026

The ledger, by group

Both groups come from one trade ledger. Core applies a fixed size to its signals. Advance uses the quantities actually traded.

What you can check

Built to be audited

One ledger

Every trade is logged by strategy with entry, exit, quantity and result. The group summaries are calculated from that ledger.

Losses included

Daily summaries list every closed position. A losing day is posted the same way as a winning one.

Rules before results

Entry thresholds, sizing and exit rules are set per strategy. When sizing changes, the ledger records it.

Questions

Before you join

What do 0DTE and 1DTE mean?

They are options with zero days or one day left until expiration. A 0DTE position expires the day it is opened. A 1DTE position is opened one trading day before it expires.

Does StrikeScout trade my account?

No. StrikeScout posts signals. You decide whether to take each one and you place the orders in your own brokerage account.

What do I need to follow the signals?

A brokerage account approved for multi-leg option spreads. SPX, NDX and RUT are index options, so your broker must also support index option trading.

How much can I lose on a trade?

Every strategy uses defined-risk spreads, so the maximum loss on a position is known when you enter. That maximum can be several times the credit received, and losses happen. Size positions so a full loss on any one trade is acceptable to you.

Why do Core and Advance show different numbers?

Core follows two strategies at a fixed size. Advance follows every strategy at the quantities traded. Different strategies and sizing produce different results.

What account size are the ROI figures based on?

Core Group ROI is measured against a $6,500 reference account. Advance Group ROI is measured against a $30,000 reference account. Your own return depends on your account size and the quantities you trade.

Will my results match the posted results?

Probably not exactly. Fill prices, timing, commissions, slippage and your own position size all change the outcome.
